Ilona Bell 

B.A., Grad.Dip.Ed.Psych., M.Psych. (Child & Educational), M.Ed. (Special Ed.), MAPS

Ilona is the Director of PATHS. She has been a registered psychologist for over 30 years and has substantial experience in working with children and adolescents and their families in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools as well as an Early Childhood Intervention setting. Special interests include the early identification of learning difficulties, giftedness and neuro-developmental presentations, and working with parents and schools to help them understand and support their children across allenvironments.

Kathy Reid

B.Soc.Sci.(Psych)., B.App.Sc.(Psych.)(Hons.)., M.Teach.(E.C.)., M.Psych.(Ed.&Dev.).

Kathy is a registered psychologist who has experience working in early childhood education, special developmental schools, primary school, and secondary school settings. Kathy has experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and support for children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, specific learning disorder, anxiety, depression, and school refusal. Kathy utilises a strengths-based and child-centred therapeutic approach that incorporates play, mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has an interest in conducting psychological assessments for supporting a child’s learning with a focus on academic performance, behaviour, and social and emotional development. 

 Emily Settree 

B.Hlth.Sc (Psych).,Post.Grad.Dip.Psych., Assoc.MAPS

Emily is a registered psychologist who enjoys supporting children, adolescents, and their families. She has experience and a keen interest in providing assessments and support to neurodiverse children and young people, including those identifying with attentional, social, and executive functioning difficulties. Emily has experience using various therapeutic approaches to provide strategies for anxiety and other social and emotional difficulties in children and young people, with a particular interest in mindfulness and developing one’s self-esteem and confidence. Emily has worked previously in public and not-for-profit multidisciplinary settings and has experience working with children and adults with intellectual disability.

Our very capable receptionists Sarah & Lisa are available to answer queries, take new referrals and to make and change appointments for all our psychologists. Reception is available 10.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday. If possible, it is best to call between these hours; otherwise you can leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as practicable.
